on 13th August 2009 Independance day was celebrated by MYO ( Muslim Youth organization). Students of Color's up (class 2,3,4) participated in it. Their performance on the national songs were wonderful. Justice (r) Nasira Javed (Daughter-in-law of National poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal was the chief guest. She appreicated the students of Color's up, gave beautiful medols by name printed on them and Mr. Sohail Zia Butt (Chairman MYO) gave the beautiful gifts to all the students. School was selected for the Effa-e-ehad award 2009, for its contributuin to build the strong Pakistan foundation.
